I think that the Mayan calendar 2012 end date will be a period of increased creativity, when more and more people come the realization we should have something to show for our time, and we should be creative in the way that we use it. I gained a lot of insights about 2012 and the Mayan calendar from Jose Arguelles' books, and from he and Lloydine's site, Tortuga.com. Though I think that their calendar is not the Mayan calendar, I love the idea of their Planet Art Network. They say that time = art, and though I don't think it is as simple as that, it is a very cool idea.
I feel as though it is very important that we do things that are creative, and making creative activities a priority is something that will become more of an accepted societal norm when we enter the new paradigm in 2012.
