2012, the Mayan calendar, and transcendence

The Mayan calendar 2012 discussion is interesting to me on many levels, and I think that the reason why people speculate about potentially negative events transpiring at the end of the Mayan calendar are not considering something that is simple, but inherently hard to grasp at the same time. If you are evolving, you can't know what it feels like to be at that next level, and you would invariably be frightened, thinking that something (you?) is coming to an end. But that is not really the case, you would simply be evolving into something a little different, and that is what I think the end of the Mayan calendar in year 2012 is all about: evolution, the evolution of consciousness, and what that will feel like is something that we can't really understand until we are there. So speculating from this side of the evolution is faulty because things may well be possible that we cannot comprehend with our present consciousness.

2012 Mayan calendar and change

2012 Mayan calendar interest is marginalized by many, and of course there are many more individuals who have never heard of people like Terence McKenna and Time Wave Zero, Hindu yugas, or 2012 and the end of the Mayan calendar. One of the reasons that they are dismissive and not interested, or ignorant, of year 2012 and what it implies, is because they are absorbed in the things that the corporate controlled media and corporate controlled government are feeding us. In reality, they want to divert our attention from the rightful place we hold as organic manifestations of divinity. We are of nature, and all nature is sacred. We can't be controlled forever. The year 2012 and the Mayan calendar end date are portals to a new understanding and a higher perspective, and the way that the current paradigm is crumbling should make people more and more interested in the new paradigm: Vibe 2012.

Mayan calendar 2012

I think that the whole concept of Mayan calendar 2012 and its significance to mankind is something that is totally positive. To me, we have been myopically missing the obvious reality that we are a part of the galaxy. Our connection to the whole does not end at the sun and the moon. The fact that we as a human family never consider our place as a citizen of the galaxy that informs the organic movement of the earth is truly absurd and very primitive. This is one of the central reasons why we have severely damaged our ecosystem.

There needs to be some sort of transcendent event that provides us with an opening to a galactic perspective, and it is my opinion that the Mayan calendar 2012 phenomena is pointing toward that very opening.

Mayan calendar 2012: creativity

I think that the Mayan calendar 2012 end date will be a period of increased creativity, when more and more people come the realization we should have something to show for our time, and we should be creative in the way that we use it. I gained a lot of insights about 2012 and the Mayan calendar from Jose Arguelles' books, and from he and Lloydine's site, Tortuga.com. Though I think that their calendar is not the Mayan calendar, I love the idea of their Planet Art Network. They say that time = art, and though I don't think it is as simple as that, it is a very cool idea.

I feel as though it is very important that we do things that are creative, and making creative activities a priority is something that will become more of an accepted societal norm when we enter the new paradigm in 2012.

Mayan calendar 2012 and the economy

The Mayan calendar and its end in 2012 is a subject of great intrigue to many, a "prophecy" or a hoax. But when you look around at the way things are today, with a crumbling economy in even the "rich" countries, half the inhabitants of the earth living on less than $2 a day, living with an environmental crisis replete with global warming, we all better hope that something significant changes, and changes fast. This is why I see the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012 as an end of this failed cycle and the beginning of a new one

It is totally logical to me, when I evaluate the present state of affairs, that what we have been doing has reached a dead end, and it is pretty plain to see if you are not too afraid to admit it. I feel as though nature is perfect and divinity is manifest in all that is alive, and there has to be a fail safe of sorts built into nature that prevents a relatively small portion of one species from destroying all others within their sphere of influence. This is one of the many reasons why the notion that there are interlocking cycles in nature resonates with me. It is logical, not spooky, speculative, or paranormal.

People will be looking for alternative to the present economic system in the very near future, and by 2012, their will be widespread support for what would seem today to be "radical" changes. You can call that a prophecy; I call it a logical projection based on present data.

Year 2012

Year 2012 is approaching, and we embrace the coming evolution of consciousness. 2012 is indeed when the Mayan calendar ends, but the reality is that it is the beginning of a new paradigm, a new consciousness. We feel as though 2012 is bringing a new vibe along with it, a vibration that contains information, and through this new template we will see, feel, and experience life in a different way.

We are promoting 2012 as a very positive and organic cyclical evolution that is natural and necessary for ourselves, and the planet that we call home. Kick back and enjoy the vibe as 2012 draws nearer.
